Draft
Privacy information
This page explains what the preview does with information, and what has to be decided before a public site can launch.
Draft for this preview. It is not legal advice, and compliance has not been verified.
What this preview does
The introductory form checks that the fields make sense, then stops. It does not send the details anywhere, store them, or book a call.
The preview does not use analytics, advertising pixels or a newsletter signup. It is aimed at installation businesses, not at homeowners asking for quotations.
What a live notice will need
Replace this draft before launch. The real notice should be checked for the actual business. It will need:
- The legal name of the business, company number and registered office.
- A contact email for privacy questions and data requests.
- Who the data controller is for installer enquiries, and who is controller or processor for homeowner enquiries handled on a client’s behalf.
- The tools actually used: for example Meta for Facebook and Instagram ads, a form host, a booking calendar and email.
- What is collected, why, the lawful basis, how long it is kept, and whether it leaves the UK.
- How installer clients are expected to handle homeowner details they receive.
None of those details are invented here, because they are not settled.
Installer enquiries, once a form is connected
A future form is expected to ask for name, company, business email, phone, an optional website, main service area, and an optional note about the help wanted. Until an endpoint is connected, that information is not transmitted.
